The Benton & Franklin Conservation Districts in partnership with the Columbia Basin Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society would like to invite you to attend our Fall 2018 Heritage Garden Workshop ~ The ART of Naturescaping!

 Speakers Include:

 

 Terri Knoke ~ Columbia Basin Chapter, Washington Native Plant Society

 

Terri will share information on wildflowers in Eastern Washington, especially those found in the shrub-steppe. She will also touch on how botanical art and scientific illustration are currently being used to promote and protect native plants.

 

 Lori Nelson ~ Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society

 

Lori will share her knowledge and expertise so that you can transform your yard into a bird friendly paradise.

 

 Heather Wendt ~ Heritage Garden Program, Benton & Franklin Conservation Districts

 

This presentation will focus on placing art in the garden.  Heather will share photos from local Heritage Gardens along with photos from her travels to provide inspiration for your garden.
